My First 10 Miler

Today I ran my first ever 10 miler. It felt Awesome! I am not going to lie. It was pure Hell at times but it feels Great to know that I can do it. I am running the Ogden Half Marathon on May 16. It will be my first and the training has been a bit*%! I have had so many issues it is Ridiculous. Everything that could go wrong has- Knee pain, heart racing way to fast, and a stress fracture in my ankle that put me down for 3 weeks of training. My orginal goal was to finish in under 2 hours but now it is just to finish. :) So as you can imagine finishing 10 miles felt like a huge victory.

This is a map of my run. I became a member of www.mapmyrun.com It is a very cool training tool. I can import runs from my Garmin 305 and it maps it all out for me. LOVE IT!! The Garmin keeps track of my runs by GPS. It also tracks my heart rate, Calories burned, elevation, time, pace, EVERYTHING.

20 days left until the big day. Hopefully next Sunday I will make it 12 miles

Meet My Parents

Kennedy made this last week in school and I thought that it was really cute.

It say:
Meet My Parents
Travis and Carrie Cassity
"My Mom and Dad are the best. I get over 20 presents from them. I am the luckiest kid on the planet, well, at least in my world. I have 9 to 20 boxes of toys. My parents took my skiing on Valentines day and last Sater Day. My mom works home and my dad works at Mini Mart."

It is funny to see how she views "her world". She is so good at buttering us up! :)

Snow Day

We went up to Wolf Mountain on Saturday. It was Kennedy's 2nd time skiing and she is a Pro, a natural. I would ride up the lift with her and she would be gone before I could even buckle into my snow board. Then I would be about half way down and she was already back on the lift for another run! I think she has found a new Love.

Newest Sticky Graffiti Items

Here are some of the newest items we have in our store.

This is a 12" x 12" Canvas square with Monogram.

It turned out really cute! It looks great on a shelf with photos or it can be hung on the wall.

I think it would be so cute to attach ribbon to the back and then hang it by the ribbon.

Our Trip

We had a great time at Disneyland and on our cruise. I miss the sunshine already. It was so nice and warm.

This is us the day we got on the boat in San Diego.

Fun on the boat!

Formal Night

Cabo San Lucas

In Cabo we went Snuba diving. It was so much fun! There were a ton of different fish and a ton of JELLY FISH (more about that below). Travis and I are both certified scuba divers but this was Kennedy's first time doing anything other than snorkeling. She did Awesome. We bought an underwater camera on the boat but so far we can't get our pictures off it :(

Well about the Jelly Fish. Minutes after entering the water Kennedy started saying that her mouth stung. We thought nothing of it and told her she was fine. Then a while later I noticed that Kennedy had gotten out of the water. Turns out a Jelly Fish had attached itself to the back of her hand. Poor girl! But she did not shed a single tear and she got back in the water! (I am not sure I would have even done that!) In the end Kennedy was stung in two places on her face and on the hand and Travis was stung on the back of the neck.

This actually turned out to be the highlight of Kennedy's trip. She spent the rest of the trip telling everyone she met about her encounter with a Jelly Fish.

The views were BREATH TAKING!

It was so hard to come back home to below freezing tempertures and snow but we are already dreaming of Hawaii for next January. Can't Wait!!
